Koreograf Marina Mascarell har arbejdet med både store etablerede kompagnier som Nederlands Dans Teater, GöteborgOperaens Danskompagni og Dance Forum Tapei, men også små uafhængige kompagnier.Den alsidige erfaring bringer hun nu til Danmark, hvor hun pr 1. april 2023 tiltrådte som kunstnerisk leder for Dansk Danseteater. Hendes kollegaer Patricia Seron Pawlik og Anne Sophie Gertz møder hende i studiet, få måneder efter hendes tiltræden for at høre om hendes erfaringer indtil videre i Danmark, hvordan hun oplever det danske publikum, og hvad hun vil gøre for scenekunsten i Danmark. Her er det især børns bevægelse, der står på programmet, og hvordan dans kan hjælpe os med at komme ned i kroppen og på den måde skabe menneskelige forbindelser, hvor vi oplever splittelse. ENGLISH Choreographer Marina Mascarell has worked both with big established companies like Nederlands Dans Teater, GöteborgOperaens Danskompagni and Dance Forum Tapei, but also smaller independent companies.Since April 1st 2023 she has brought this varied experience to Denmark, as new Artistic Director of Danish Dance Theatre. Her colleagues Patricia Seron Pawlik and Anne Sophie Gertz meet her in the studio a few months after she has started to talk about her experiences in Denmark so far, how she sees the Danish audience and what her plans are for stage art in Denmark.Her focus is especially on the movement of children and how dance can help us connect through the body in times of polarization.
