This is a bedtime story for grown ups about a mongoose who is meeting with friends at a cabin in a forest. They ascend a mountain, take shelter in a cave, decide to see if there is a way through this cave, rather than going over the mountain. They find a chamber in the cave with flowing water and flowing metal which is as reflective as a mirror. They drink some of the water and time stops. They pass through the metal mirror into a mirror universe. They explore outside the cave in this universe where they encounter a fairy and father time who shares the knowledge to unfreeze time. They had back to their universe, unfreeze time and continue their journey, finding their way through to the far side of the mountain range. They head through a forest this side of the mountain, camp for the night in the forest before continuing their journey to the cabin ...
