Sully (Paul Newman) is an older man in a small town whose life hasn’t exactly worked out perfectly, but he’s done it his way. He’s also angered and alienated a lot of people in the process. When his down-on-his luck son, Peter (Dylan Walsh), happens to visit town with his wife and son, Sully gets a second chance at being a family man.
