Episode notes
Convention of States co-founder and Senior Advisor Michael Farris debunks the widespread belief that the 1787 convention went beyond the scope of its original call. He proves that the delegates to the Philadelphia Convention acted lawfully to render the government adequate to the exigencies of the union. There is no precedent for an unlawfully conducted interstate convention.
