While the Pergamum church was commended for holding fast to Christ's name, they were also corrected for allowing false teachings to compromise their theology and lifestyle. True faithfulness requires balancing grace with accountability, guarding against false beliefs, avoiding spiritual drift through genuine repentance, and focusing on the rewards Christ promises to those who overcome. Like them, we can remain faithful in our difficult circumstances by aligning our thinking with God's truth.
