Season 2
A Home From Within
For anyone and everyone who often finds themselves searching for something more outside of themselves and is constantly looking for something to run away from rather than run towards.
Lessons Learned
Today's episode will entail the wisdom I have gained from many life lessons learned at an early age. From trends to never measuring love, I share my opinions on what I believe to be true. I also want to preface that I am currently out of town and do not have my equipment with me. When editing and analyzing this episode, I realized that my mic cut out for a portion of the episode from 21:33 to 36:25. I want always to release the best possible episodes, and am sorry for today's quality. I figured no episode would be worse and I thank you for your support, time, and attention.
Life Is Boring
Life is somewhat boring, but I believe that with that boredom you can actually find how to live a more meaningful life to you.
Season 1
Perspective
"We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are." - Anail Nin
Alone & Lonely
Loneliness is a state of mind while remaining alone is a state of being. I have found loneliness is the bridge you must cross before finding comfort in being alone. When you finally do enjoy the solitude of your presence, you will attract the right people, places, and opportunities.
Is Suffering Necessary?
The question of if suffering is necessary for life has been looming over my mind lately. I had noticed how periods of suffering and pain have added value to my life and how the weight is placed on achievements rather than effort when the work between points A and B made those achievements possible. I believe in order to survive you must find meaning in suffering.
The Age Of Indulgence
An indulgence is doing something you enjoy even if it has negative consequences. You are responsible for how you spend your time and what you indulge in because it will dictate how you feel and who you become.
Heartbreak
I believe heartbreak instructs us that temporary people can teach us permanent lessons, and sometimes life doesn't give you want, not because you don't deserve it, but because you deserve more.
People Pleasing Is Self-harm
People pleasing is self-harm that goes much deeper than lending a charger when your phone is on 1%. It can lead to individuals living vicariously through other people, limiting themselves, and struggling with self-esteem and boundaries.
My Vogue Beauty Secrets
I believe the best beauty is natural beauty and enhancing what your momma gave you! Listen for more tips and tricks that helped me from being acne prone, to hygiene, to feeling good even when I don't look the best. Remember, not everything that works for me may work for you.
