Good morning. Connecticut. I'm Aaron Jolly. That gray blanket overhead? It's about to open up. In the next 24 hours. We're sitting at 31 degrees right now with patchy fog hugging the low spots. That fog clears by mid-morning. Just in time for rain to take over. The coast gets hit first. Rain rolls in around 7 A.M. — steady, soaking stuff that sticks around all day. You'll top out near 40 degrees. Central Connecticut stays dry until 9 A.M., then the rain finds you too, with highs near 38. Eastern Connecticut sees rain by 8 A.M. and climbs to 41. Tonight's when it really dumps. Three quarters of an inch to a full inch in spots. Lows drop to 32 to 34 statewide. Northeast winds gust to 20 miles an hour along the shore. That damp chill will sneak right through your jacket. Friday, the rain eases to drizzle by afternoon. Highs hover in the upper 30s  ...
