Here's the story: that high is drifting east, allowing southerly winds to pump in milder air. Enjoy the break. Because an arctic cold front is gathering strength out west.
In the next 24 hours. Tonight, you'll notice the air feeling a bit heavier as temperatures settle into the mid-20s statewide. Keep an eye out after 3 A.M. — patchy fog is likely to develop as moisture from the melting snowpack meets that incoming warmth.
