Vanessa Morrison is the co-founder of Open Design Collective alongside Architect Deborah Richards. Their Oklahoma City based practice employs the tools of planning and design to empower unerrepresented communities and to build spaces where they can prosper and thrive. In this conversation, Vanessa updates us on several projects she has worked on, including the South of 8th neighborhood plan, the Jewel Theater, an update on Blackspace Urbanist Collective, Black Town Homecoming, and Threatt Station on historic Route 66.
