Episode 35: Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan - "Retired in Disgrace"
Today on the show we have not one but two creators coming on in Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan! They are the pair behind the upcoming blockbuster kaiju book The Horror of Godizilla from IDW Publishing feature some career best work from the incomparable Tristan Jones. They get into rubble about the scale, terror, and triumphs of chronicling the first Godzilla attack on Tokyo. Plus, just last week this team also debuted Surpergirl: Survive over at DC Comics with another generational artist in Rod Reis. Plus, check out their Image Comics series Kill Your Darlings that’s out in collected edition now. Ethan and Griffin get into the uniqueness of being a writing team, the incredible education they got under comic superstars like Brian Michael Bendis, Ryan Stegman, and Matthew Rosenberg. Stephanie also holds a PhD in rhetoric and composition and and MA in English from the University of South Florida.
