We are back, with a couple of changes -- most notably that I am joined by cohost Mark Podolski, sports editor of The News-Herald and Morning Journal in suburban Cleveland.

We touch on a variety of subjects today, including:

  • The infighting between the SEC and Big Ten on the proposed format of the next College Football Playoff Expansion
  • Who is the face of college football in 2025? Is it Texas' Arch Manning? Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith? Is there a coach who can fill the void left by the departure of Nick Saban?
  • Week 1 has a couple of tasty matchups, notably Texas-Ohio State and LSU-Clemson, but these games are too few and far between.
  • There is also some pop culture talk about the recent 50th anniversary of Jaws and a review of the latest Fantastic Four film.
