The Hymns That Healed Us
Before there was gospel radio… before there were praise teams and microphones… there were metered hymns. Songs that didn’t need no beat just a deacon, a voice, and the Spirit of the Lord. Back in the day, these weren’t just songs. They were survival. They were medicine for the brokenhearted. And they were the sound of a people holding on to hope when life was heavy. Today, we’re gonna talk about those old meter hymns how they shaped us, healed us, and carried us through.

When God Delivers You, Don’t Go Back
Faith, Unity & Truth with Zayvion Z. Mitchell — The Coldest Mortician® When God delivers you from something, don’t go back. In this episode, Zayvion Z. Faith, Healing, and Unity: Time for Us to Get Up
In this episode, Zayvion Z. Mitchell dives deep into the power of faith and accountability. From the story of Rachel and Leah to the man waiting at the pool of Bethesda, we’re reminded that sometimes God is calling us to get up when we’re still trying to explain why we can’t move. Then the conversation shifts to our own communities how we can’t just talk about black and white conflict while ignoring black-on-black violence. It’s time to rebuild unity, restore love, and remember that faith without works is dead. Zayvion closes out with some real facts about the funeral industry, breaking down truth from myth like only The Coldest Mortician® can.
