In this episode of Cold World w/ DVJ & Michelle, we dive into a disturbing Wisconsin case involving a woman who was pulled over at gunpoint after an outdated license-plate alert connected her vehicle to a Milwaukee homicide.
The woman, Amber Newell, was driving on I-94 in Brookfield when multiple officers surrounded her vehicle with guns drawn and ordered the occupants out. She was handcuffed and detained before police determined that the vehicle was no longer wanted. According to the report discussed in the episode, the problem wasn't that the Flock camera malfunctioned β an outdated alert had not been removed from the system.
