Code Purple Podcast by Osian Harvey, Luke Heptinstall, James Matthews
Episode notes
It's been a crazy month at Code Purple HQ. Luke's been busy working at a kitchen in Provincetown, Osian has recently become MI6's first non-binary recruit, and James had to transport crates of volatile nitroglycerin along dirt roads in his Peugeot 107. As such, there have once again been delays, but finally a new episode has arrived, themed around one of the gang's favourite decades, the 70s. The recent feature is coincidentally 70s-set, with it being Tony (2026, dir. Matt Johnson). The choices are The Spook Who Sat by the Door (1973, dir. Ivan Dixon), The Front (1976, dir. Martin Ritt) and Sorcerer (1977, dir. William Friedkin).
