Terms we discussed:
-AMAB/AFAB: Assigned male at birth/assigned female at birth. Assigned genders based on a person's anatomy at birth.
-Trans: Latin prefix meaning "on the other side of". If your gender identity does not align with the one assigned at birth, you are transgender
-Cis: Latin prefix meaning "on the same side of". If your gender identity does align with the one assigned at birth, you are cisgender
-Transmasc/Transfem: Short for transmasculine and transfeminine; useful shorthand for trans people and their identities
