There is a difference between knowing the truth and loving the truth. Second Thessalonians 2 warns that those who perish do so not because truth was unavailable, but because they did not receive a love for it. For Seventh-day Adventists, the prophetic message rooted in Daniel and Revelation is not simply a set of doctrines. It is a God-given mission with a specific purpose in history. The 2,300-day prophecy of Daniel 8, the Great Disappointment of 1844, and the three angels' messages of Revelation 14 all point to a people called to restore truth and prepare the world for the return of Jesus.
