The Chargers have made their initial cuts and the first 53-man roster is set. But as we all know, this roster is far from finished.

There will be more moves before Week 1. Players designated to return from IR will eventually work their way back, waiver claims could change the depth chart, and I wouldn’t rule out another trade or two as the Chargers continue shaping this team for the regular season.

But right now, with the initial 53 in place, I wanted to give my thoughts on where I believe this roster stands, some of the decisions that were made, the depth at certain positions, and what I expect from this team heading into the season.
