Week 1 of Chargers Training Camp is officially in the books, and in this episode of Chargers Talk 4630, I’m sharing my biggest takeaways after watching the practices, listening to the coaches and players, and breaking down the available film.

We’ll talk about Justin Herbert’s development in the new offense, the energy and creativity being brought by offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, which players have stood out the most, the battles that are starting to take shape across the roster, and what has impressed me the most through the first week. I’ll also discuss the areas where I still think this team has room to improve before the regular season kicks off.
