Jonah Schumacher and Olivia Anthony have spent their senior year of high school co-leading the Pleasantville chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). For their last event, they decided they wanted to plan an outdoor community worship service. With the support of their FCA sponsor Coach Mack Jorth, and the help of Pleasantville Youth Initiative, they shared the event around the community and social media inviting everyone in Pleasantville. When the day came, heavy rain changed their plans.The newly rebuilt Pleasantville Christian Church (having burned down in 2020), opened their doors to host the teens’ event. This was a beautiful moment for the entire community!The event was well attended by people from many different church backgrounds.
