May 15-21 is National EMS Week. Emergency Medical Services personnel provide a vital community service regardless of where they're situated. The focus of EMS is emergency medical care of the patient but EMS is much more than a ride to the hospital. Cori Rayevich, EMS Coordinator and Kelby Eck, Director of Emergency Services at CCMH, disucss the importance of EMS personnel and how to become a member of a volunteer or paid service.
