SIM Iowa is a program designed to offer real-life, hands-on training to Emergency Services (EMS) providers, as well as law enforcement and other First Reponsders in rural Iowa. Al Fear, Program Director, and Jacinda Bunch, PhD, RN, Senior Advisor, and their colleagues were in Denison to coordinate training with SIM Nebraska, a partnership for providing "hi-fidelity" training for emergency personnel and nurses at CCMH. Al and Jacinda discuss the program, how it came to be, and the other Midwestern states who are working together in the program.
