Chatting Comedy, Booze, and the Art Scene in Nelson Mandela Bay with Chantal Harris

In the first episode of CAST Chats Season 1, Prof chats with Chantal Harris: stand-up comedian, arts entrepreneur, and co-founder of the Friendly City Comedy Crew with Nolwazi Nkwandla. She shares her story of coming to comedy later in life, and the lessons she learned building up the stand-up scene in Gqeberha, a gem of a city that's too often overlooked in Mzansi's cultural conversation. We also discuss her one-woman show, "ADHD, the Bottle, and Me", playing at the Mandela Bay Arts Festival through 1 March.
