They did in a little deeper to the lesson of prayer given by Jesus Christ to His disciples found in Luke 11 and then dive into Jesus's prayer in John 17. What we discover is that it is by the disciples "importunity" and consistent, persistent prayer that they receive the Holy Spirit.
