Tennessee Blues Mob blends the raw energy of blues-infused rock, the emotional depth of Americana, and a slice of black metal's roots. This band is carving out a unique lane on the music industry expressway. “It’s not your granddaddy’s blues, but it's blues influenced,” Bassist Damian Robinson puts into picture. Along with Robinson, in the Tennessee Blues Mob are the members – lead vocalist Michael Phillips and keyboardist Terry McClain. Joined by guitarist Shane Borchert and drummer Scott Mincey, the group has honed its craft over decades of playing together in various projects. “Really, the key for us is that a lot of us have played together in the past and really know how the other one operates, and I think when you’re standing in a room that’s really important,” explains Robinson. Season 3 Episode 7 "Hold on to Your Seats, Here Comes Jason Dietz!"

Jason Deitz has a significant impact on the local music scene in Murfreesboro. A post-emotional hardcore band sticks out before he was in the Harden Draw, Amigo the Devil, IV and the Strange Band, and many other notable works. Deitz relocated to Murfreesboro from Washington, D.C., in 1993. In 1995, he became the bassist for the band Serotonin. In this episode, we discuss Serotonin's recent reunion after a 20-year hiatus, as well as the members' successes both outside of the band and during that break. We conclude with a Q&A session based on questions from a recent post on the Bucket City Mouthwash Facebook page.

BCMW Season 3 Episode 5 Thom Hoskins "Sorry Officer the Only Direction I Know is Left"

Thom was in a band called The Buffalo Saints. They were an alt-country band from Kansas City and released their album "Walking the Dead" in 2005. Additionally, Thom has released three solo EPs. Thom Hoskins has experience as a Front of House Engineer. He has managed all audio, visual, and lighting aspects during live shows. Before performances, he conducts sound checks, discusses sound goals with the band or songwriter, and adjusts volume, balance, and EQ. Throughout shows, his skills come into play when he has to listen and make real-time adjustments, ensuring that performers and audience members receive the best sound.

BCMW Season 3 Episode 4 - Woodland Creatures. Start your Buns! It's Scufflemöss!

Scufflemöss Treemen is a forest troll from the Black Forest in Germany. He began making music in 2018 and formed a band called Wüden Boi with fruends! Scufflemöss has also been involved in creative projects such as storytelling and online shows. He recently appeared on "America's Got Talent" and has released three self-produced albums.

BCMW Season 3 Episode 3 - Milton Chavez the Hell Raiser and Muddy Roots Slinger

Milton Chavez is a key figure behind the Muddy Roots Festival, a DIY music event that has evolved from its beginnings at June Bug Boogie Ranch into an international phenomenon. He co-manages the festival with his wife, Delane Chavez, and Jason Galaz, known as the Mudfather. Milton is passionate about supporting local music scenes, helping bands connect across countries, and maintaining the festival's community-driven spirit. This includes expanding Muddy Roots to locations in Belgium, Argentina, and the UK while preserving its grassroots ethos.

BCMW Season 3 Episode 2 - Ethan Rose Trades paint with a Crawling Toddlers Car."

Ethan Rose recounts their experiences living on Eagle Street, including house shows and their introduction of Murfreesboro’s music scene. Rose highlights the challenges of maintaining DIY music spaces due to gentrification and real estate market changes. The speakers also touch on their involvement in various bands, such as Uncle Skunkle and Toxic Culture, and their efforts to support community through Boro Fondo and CXR.

BCMW Season 3 Ep 1 Jay Palmer "Real Fast and Real Left."

Jay Palmer started skateboarding around age 8, began playing drums and guitar in his teens, and was part of multiple bands including Thrash Biscuits, Bottle Tosser and Boyfriend. He was close friends with musician Andy Johnson who is remembered as the keyboardist, vocalists and visionary for Boyfriend. He has been active in the local house show scene since his youth. Jay has filled in for plenty of bands as well such as Casual Sects and currently Spinal fluid. Jay is passionate about music, having experimented with multiple instruments and participated in various local music projects throughout his teenage and young adult years.

BUCKET CITY MOUTHWASH- S2 The Crust Belt Specials Ep 8 Lei Tellez

Lei Tellez has been actively involved in the music scene since the age of 16, booking shows and organizing events. During a challenging period in their life, they found refuge and solidarity within the Murfreesboro house show community, which provided safety and support when they needed it most. Currently, Lei is the lead singer of the band Misandry and is eager to start more musical projects. They emphasize the importance of community, harm reduction, and the need for more venues and support for emerging bands.
