Making sense of senseless cruelty on Palestine (with Sana Saeed)

Bubble Pop with Rachel Gilmore by Rachel Gilmore

Episode notes

Mahmoud Khalil — a key figure in anti-gen*cide protests at Columbia University — was just getting home from an Iftar dinner when agents from the Department of Homeland Security shoved their way into his building and demanded his arrest.

But Khalil is a lawful permanent resident of the United States with a green card. Now, he's being held in a Louisiana detention centre. Authorities are pushing to revoke his green card. All this is happening with zero stated evidence of a crime.

To help us make sense of the senseless, award-winning media critic Sana Saeed joins us on the show.
