Summary:

These past few days, from April 29th through May 1st, I've been taking things a bit slower in Malawi while recovering from a cold and sorting out logistics. On Wednesday the 29th, I finally caught up with the North Carolina group I'd been trying to meet. Persistence paid off, and they invited me to share dinner with them. We had a great exchange of stories — Frank, one of the group members, had lived in several places across Africa and traveled from Malawi all the way to Ethiopia in stages. He was curious about my experiences in West Africa, so we had a wonderful time sharing travel insights. They're wrapping up their two-week journey and heading out on Monday.
