Boot and Sink

Boot and Sink

by Timothy Zero
Season 2
Boot and sink, the wedding
I went to a wedding. Or at least I thought I did. The vows became increasingly strange. The guests seemed to know things they shouldn't. A deer inspected the wedding cake. People spoke to empty chairs. By midnight, reality itself appeared to have been part of the guest list. Then I discovered the truth. "The Wedding" is an episode about experimental theater, ritual, performance, and the unsettling moment when you realize everyone knows what's happening except you.
Boot and sink, The porch lantern
A personal episode about identity, loneliness, belonging, and the small lights that help us find our way home.
Boot and sink, forbidden breeds
In this episode, I finally got to interview Dr. Theodora Blackthorn on her new book, The Monastic Hound: Forbidden Canines of the Medieval World. We discuss some dogs maybe have never existed and some I pray never come into style again.
Boot and sink. The stranger line.
Alone on a Saturday night. I try a random voice chat website. People are cruel so I get weird on them, and then of course something weird happens.
Boot and sink, the quiet loaf
Del's crustacean infested nightmares come to a head and he desperately needs to get rid of the astral house guests. So they go to the only one who can help. Agnes Wicklow.
Boot and sink, The surreal nightclub generator
Del won't leave his place because of a monster storm coming, so I recorded this riffing excercise that I do at work when I have nothing to do.
Boot and sink, the sound of not showing up.
In this episode, I talk about how sometimes people let you down. How in a town as weird as Bandit's Nook. People don't want to talk. And I get a new sposnor, as well as an update on Del.
Boot and sink, the Harlan Davies interview
Finally after missed phone calls, and getting time in Harlan's busy schedule, I get to set down in his restaurant and talk to the man, the cook, the fighter.
Boot and sink, Ectoplasm is not a Library term
Episode 4 of Season 2. I had a odd run in with a kid looking for something at the library. And it was something I was looking for too at his age. Ectoplasm, and why wasn't it in the dictionary.
Boot and sink, the return of Del
Season 2, episode 3. Del returns home! And he has many stories to tell, hallucinatory fish, trapped in the bowels of the denver airport and interdimensional crustaceans.
