Memorial Day serves as a time to remember those who have sacrificed much for our nation and given their lives for others. Many noble and honorable men and women have done valiant things during times of war. These accounts point us to something far greater. They lead us to a large furnished upper room in 1st century Jerusalem where Jesus institutes a new memorial to be celebrated throughout all generations.
