In the 1950’s an American Olympian named Paul Edward Anderson performed a back lift of trestles, supporting 6,270lbs, which has been said to be the greatest weight ever lifted by a human. What’s cool about Paul Edward Anderson is that not only was he the world's strongest man but he was also a Christian. In 1961, Anderson and his wife Glenda founded the Paul Anderson Youth Home, a home for troubled youth, in Vidalia, Georgia.

In the Scripture, when it refers to strength it’s not primarily talking about lifting huge weights like that of Paul Anderson but an inner spiritual fortitude, a resolve, a courage that can endure life’s toughest battles.
