God Has Made Jesus Both Lord And Christ

Bible Reading: Acts 2:14-36 & Belgic Confession Article 10

In our Bible reading Peter showed that Jesus Christ is the

Messiah who came. Our Saviour is not only called Jesus, but

Peter called Him Christ because God has made this Jesus,

both Lord and Christ. From the Word of God, Peter told of

Jesus’ birth, His life, His suffering, His cross, burial,

resurrection, and ascension. Jesus is Lord and Christ and

brought all the changes. He is the long-awaited Messiah.

Christ is our Saviour. He sits on the right hand of His Father

where He reigns. Jesus received the name from God

Himself: He is the Anointed, the Messiah, the Christ.
