The Gospel Must Be Both Seen & Heard

Bible Reading: Matthew 5: 14-16 & Romans 10:13-15

Summary: The Bible shows us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ

is something that must be both heard and seen in his

followers. This is a truth clearly seen in the developing world

where the church is rapidly growing, it's impossible to deny

God's work there. This though stands in stark contrast to the

challenge we face in sharing our faith in a more secular and

comfortable culture like Australia. While hearing and

believing the message of Jesus is crucial (Romans 10:14-15),

we must also live lives that reflect the gospel through our

actions and attitudes, being "salt and light" in the world

(Matthew 5:14-16).
