Ben and Ethan are back after a 2 week hiatus to talk about some recent injuries to Anthony Davis, Steph Curry and Cade Cunningham. Then we discuss the surging Brooklyn Nets, and a potential budding rivalry between the Phoenix Suns and the New Orleans Pelicans. After, we talk about the New York Jets rough loss on Sunday to the Detroit Lions. The Buffalo Bills and the AFC East, LA Lakers, and Red-Hot Boston Celtics with Pete Hartrick

n this episode of the Backcourt boys, Ben and Ethan are joined by Pete Hartrick. Pete is a Bills fan and also a Laker fan. We begin the conversation on the status of the Lakers after a terrible loss to the Indiana Pacers, dropping them to 7-12 on the season (0:40). Next, we talk briefly about the red-hot Boston Celtics (10:40) and Brooklyn Nets (13:15). Later, we dive into some football and discuss the current state of the Buffalo Bills after coming into the season as a Super Bowl favorite. The boys are back and are joined by our first ever returning guest and fellow Nets fan Stephen Braunstein. We first catch up on the somewhat promising Brooklyn Nets and Ben Simmons (0:25). Then we dive into our biggest fallers of the week starting with the Miami Heat (11:48), and the Chicago Bulls (14:14). After, the guys put together a draft from every player in the league and compare which team is best (We apologize for the lack of NBA content before the season). In this episode, Ben, Mike and Ethan have their best debate yet on who the top 5 small forwards are heading into next season. After, we react to Suns owner Robert Sarver's investigation and suspension from the NBA. Lastly, the boys each choose one player that they think will have a breakout season next year.
