Michael Beavers had a disastrous first set. Host Greg Goldstein was there and called it "the most poorly-received set" he had ever seen. Greg and Michael discuss what exactly went wrong that caused multiple audience members to leave the showroom and the comedian after him to publicly proclaim "I don't know Michael" on stage. But out of all the chaos comes a story of redemption. Within just one year, Michael had managed to turn his fortunes around and establish himself as one of Philly comedy's top names. In episode 2 of Baby's First Bit, Michael Beavers reckons with a rough beginning and celebrates his achievements in the time since.
