Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months-let's be honest, it's pretty hard to catch up sometimes. But at the end of the day, we're humans. We're mothers. Not everything goes to plan, and that's okay. In this episode, Janni and Rachel give you a glance into the past 8 months (woah) with some life updates and stories along the way. We talk about how you can find learning lessons in everything, and how to always stay grateful no matter what phase of your life you may be in. Hey mamas🫶🏼 How are we doing?? We hope you are all doing amazing as always-but even if you're not, that's perfectly okay and we are here for you always. In this episode, Janni and Rachel talk about needs over wants, and how important it is to listen to your body, mind, & soul. Sometimes a change in routine is so necessary, especially as moms. We have all heard how routine may be best for our children, but life is not perfect. No matter how much you might try to stick to the same day-to-day schedule, as humans it is so normal to just do what feels right sometimes. Motherhood can be very repetitive, and that's why we believe mothers should be able to step out of the cycle and focus on what they need for themselves. Because again, like we always preach, MOMS MATTER TOO! It is essential for us to take some time away, do the things we love to do, and prioritize ourselves...for the better of yourself and your children. Let this be your reminder to do something for you today, even if it may be out of your norm. It is so easy to become comfortable in your current situation, so if you're looking for change, it all begins with being in the uncomfortable. (P.S. MOMS CAN DO IT ALL! | Janni Ayala & Rachel Anastacia talk being someone outside of motherhood & chasing dreams vs. the societal view on motherhood

A mother's love for her child is unmatched, but what about the other things she loves?.. including HERSELF!! In this episode, Janni & Rach discuss balancing your own desires and dreams that are outside of motherhood and STILL BE A GREAT MOM! While many moms have this need for more, it's often frowned upon in society. Why is that? We take a dive into the judgement of others while also reminding ourselves and all moms that it is okay to have wants & needs that aren't centered around being a mom. Odds are you, a mother, have things in your life that you want for yourself. Whether that is to go back to school, start a business, take on a new hobby, change your career, etc. you still want them and IT'S POSSIBLE!! It won't be as easy as it is for the next person who doesn't have mouths to feed and butts to wipe, but nothing worthwhile comes easy. Even now, in your own mothering it's not always rainbows and butterflies but you still persevere. Now apply that to everything else. We truly believe that mothers are the strongest, hardworking people in the world who really can do it all. We hope in this episode you start to see that too, and choose you. It always feels so therapeutic to sit and just talk, and sometimes that's what that podcast is for us-therapy. We have shared our most personal thoughts and feelings to not only help our listeners, but to help ourselves as well. We are all human, We have feelings. We go through ups and downs. And that's just what life is about. Going through the human experience, and being there for each other when we need it most. Let this be your reminder that it is okay to take a breather. Special Guest Episode | Janni Ayala & Rachel Anastacia talk to their friend Mia, a Mother of 3, about her c-sections, postpartum, having a child with ADHD, being a stay at home mom & more

Hey Friends! In this episode Janni Ayala & Rachel Anastacia sit down with our friend Mia as she talks about her experience with raising 3 boys at the age of 26. Mia has gone through 3 c-sections, the first one being an emergency when the umbilical chord wrapped around her babies neck; A MOTHER'S FEAR! She also experienced pre-eclampsia after giving birth to her youngest son. Talk about a strong mother! Mia also talks about raising a son diagnosed with ADHD and the hard decision of getting her son medicated. She says taking this difficult step has helped her mothering while also helping her child. Taking him to therapy multiple times a week with 2 other babies right by her side. Now Mia is maneuvering through being a stay at home mom, balancing a relationship with her fiancé' in the midst of being a busy mother, and learning to prioritize herself. We can't express our gratitude enough for Mia allowing herself to come on here and speak her truths for herself and all the women out there raising babies and taking care of themselves. The Beauty In Aging | Janni & Rachel talk about ALL the feels that come with aging...how to reflect, accept, and appreciate everything that comes with getting older as women.

whewww is this a topic that NEEDED to be talked about! let's face it-as woman, we all think about getting "old". one day or another, we are bound to spot the physical changes that come with age, everyone will. but let's remind ourselves that it is all a mindset. rather than fear it, try to accept it. for a very long time, woman have faced countless ends of judgment from others (as well as from themselves) as they have aged. youth is such a sacred thing, and looking and feeling "young" is something that every older person strives for. in this episode, Janni and Rachel speak on their own opinions and viewpoints of aging in society as women and mothers, and what they look forward to as they grow. change is inevitable, so let's not run from it-because as human beings we are supposed to be ever-evolving. that's just life! aging is truly something to be grateful for. as we get the opportunity to live out our lives, watch our children grow older, and do everything we dream of doing. we only get one body in this lifetime of ours, so let's hold onto it and take care of it while we can.💗✨

TRUMP IS GOING TO BRIBE US TO HAVE KIDS?? | Janni Ayala & Rachel Anastacia discuss the proposed "baby bonus" of $5k to increase the U.S. birthrate & how this WON'T solve our country's issues

In this Episode Janni & Rach dive into the proposed "baby bonus" that President Trump is looking to get passed by Congress, which would cost the government $17.6 BILLION to fund. Since there has been a decline in U.S. births the government is essentially "bribing" women by offering $5000 in exchange for their reproduction. A decline that has occurred AFTER banning abortion in many states and the constant increase on the price of living. We discuss the risks of getting pregnant, giving birth, and how this proposal for financial compensation is made to make women seem like machines to help fund the economic crisis in the United States, without taking into consideration the many impacts it can have on a woman and these children. The U.S. government prioritizes our unborn babies but when it comes to the babies that have been born AND their mothers, they are no longer that priority. With no paid leave for parents, expensive healthcare, and millions of children homeless each year and thousands & thousands of children in the foster care system. Make it make sense? We also mention that the governments want to increase IVF accessibly and affordability and how this is actually a good thing for women who are trying or have been struggling with getting pregnant. As many of us have seen online women sharing their IVF journeys and the constant battle these couples have to go through to reproduce. The government SHOULD help with this! We want to make it very clear that we are NOT political at all but whenever it comes to women and mothers we have to talk about it. Hi mamas! We are back with a very special episode, welcoming our friend Aeja! Aeja is another young milf herself, as well as an educator and photographer. Her son, Nugget (how cute!), is diagnosed with Autism, and in honor of Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month, Aeja is here to share the story of her son's journey, as well as her own. She speaks on her experience upon finding out she was pregnant, up until receiving her son's diagnosis, and what a gift that is! Sharing the importance of advocation and the obstacles she has faced, Aeja shows just how strong of a mother she is...truly such an inspiration. Every child should be lucky enough to have a mother, as well as a community around them, that speaks up for them when they can't, and who will always have their back. WAS CHAPPELL ROAN RIGHT ABOUT MOTHERHOOD? | Janni Ayala & Rachel Anastacia talk happiness in motherhood, living in “hell”, judgement, PMDD, & more

In this episode Janni and Rach discuss one the most recent episodes of “Call Her Daddy” hosted by Alex Cooper, who spoke with Chappell Roan. In their discussion they got on the topic of motherhood where she, Chapell Roan, said all parents were in hell, no parent our age is happy and have no lights in their eyes. Janni and Rach both gave their opinion on the matter while also discussing different point of views on this topic because everyone has a right to their own opinion. Understanding that this “hell” experienced in motherhood can be frustrating and overwhelming while also being fulfilling and full of life. Of course we are always mentioning personal experiences like Janni not wanting children before getting pregnant (but loves it now), Rachel reliving her childhood through her daughter, forming beautiful relationships with our children and so much more. We even get on the topic of PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), an intense form of PMS that not many women realize they experience. This causing women to have around 1 “good” week out of each month and having a major impact on a woman’s mental health… wishing us women were more informed on this. This episode is full of understand, no judgement, cute interactions with Romeo (Janni’s son), sips of Olipop, and tons of gratitude. Hi mamasss! We are back with Episode 25...hello??? 25?! Is this real life? How grateful are we that we have come so far. And to see the beautiful community of woman and mothers that has grown over the years...it's truly such an amazing thing. In this episode, Janni & Rach touch base on balancing mom life and work life, all while finding your true passions, and honestly, just figuring it all out. It can be hard for a lot of people to do these things, let alone you're freshly postpartum as a first time mom, or you have six kids. It will always be a juggling act, because your life doesn't stop when you become a mom. You are still allowed to do the things you love to do, and show up for yourself AND your kids. Whether it's in your career, or you're chasing a dream. You are so capable of doing what you need (or want) to do for YOU! Motherhood can be consuming at times, but remember...you are still your own person. So, chase that dream. Start that business. Take those classes. Get the job. Be the boss mama you are, and let your children be a reason why you do it all as well. Teach them that you can be anything you want to be in this life. GO FOR IT MAMA!💗
