The Foundation of all Wisdom: G-d's Perfect Unity and the Absolute Truth of His Being
Ask Noah International – The 7 Universal Commandments and Mu... by Ask Noah International
Episode notes
The Mishneh Torah was written by Maimonides (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon, 1135 – 1204 C.E., known by his acronym Rambam). It begins and ends with themes of G-d’s absolute unity. The remainder of the 14 volumes in the work are dedicated to teaching the details of all the 613 Jewish commandments and the 7 Noahide commandments from the Five Books of Moses.
Maimonides begins the first section on "Foundations of Faith" by concisely explaining how G-d's unity and the ultimate truth of His being are known from the Hebrew Bible. Understanding these concepts and incorporating them into your life will help to bring the world closer to the open revelation of G-d's Presence in the Messianic Era.
