Oxford University Receives Rs 500 Crore Donation From The Poonawalla Family

The Serum Institute of India and the Poonawalla family are donating 50 million dollars, respectively, to the University of Oxford. These funds will go towards the building of the new Vaccines Research Building at the Old Road Campus. The donation will also go towards establishing the Oxford University's Pandemic Sciences Centre. It will also be used to conduct research on vaccines.
