We're excited to release this wonderfully inspirational discussion featuring Murdoch alumnus Mathilda D'Silva, the founder and CEO of Ocean Purpose Project.Hosted by Murdoch alumnus, Samantha Osborne, Mathilda talks about her inspiring journey and the important work of her award winning social enterprise.Mathilda was left with a debilitating & incurable autoimmune disease after competing in a dragon boat competition in the polluted waters of Boracay. Mathilda found purpose in her trauma by launching Ocean Purpose Project whose goal is to slash pollution in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Murdoch alumnus, Elaine Pearson, in conversation with Murdoch Law School’s SCALES Director Associate Professor Anna Copeland, discuss human rights and Elaine’s new book, Chasing Wrongs and Rights. The book details global human rights issues and her personal odyssey fighting for those rights and urging governments to uphold and protect individual freedoms and treaties. Elaine is the Executive Director of Human Rights Watch's Asia Division, overseeing the work of the division in more than 20 countries. She works to bring a human rights dimension to Australian foreign and domestic policies and has been involved in conducting numerous human rights investigations in Australia and around the world.
