The sun's taking a backseat today behind those clouds, but southerly winds will push temperatures into the low 80s anyway. Birmingham climbs to 82 degrees, montgomery and Mobile both hit 80. Even up in Huntsville. Here comes 79 degrees — unseasonably warm for early March. As the sun sets. Northern Alabama sees a few lingering showers this morning, but those fade by lunchtime.
