That drizzle tapping your window? Just the warm-up band. A cold front is sliding south today. And it's bringing thunderstorms with real punch. We're talking a quarter to half an inch of rain across the state.
Up in the Tennessee Valley, showers are already rolling through. Thunderstorms peak around 8 A.M. And you're looking at an 86 percent chance — basically guaranteed. Highs hit 66 degrees before things clear out tonight. Low of 45.
Central Alabama, you're in the thick of it all day. Storms fire up around 6 A.M. And don't quit until after midnight. Highs reach 68 degrees. Tonight drops to 52.
