Mark 15:24-32
- Soldiers crucify Jesus, divide his garments by lot, and mock him along with passersby and leaders.
- The two criminals crucified with him also insult him as he hangs on the cross.
Luke 23:33-43
- Jesus is crucified between two criminals; he prays for their forgiveness while soldiers cast lots for his clothes.
- One criminal repents and Jesus promises him paradise that very day.
