#699 - Fellowship Without Agenda: Walking in Love and Truth Together
A Word of Grace by A Word of Grace
Episode notes
We gathered to study fellowship, love, and spiritual growth through Galatians and 1 John. We reflected on how true fellowship is Christ-centered, requiring us to lay aside personal agendas and embrace self-sacrificial love. Using the story of Mary and Martha, we considered how humility, sitting at Jesus’ feet, and receiving His life represent the heart of genuine fellowship. We examined the dangers of serving with personal motives, recognizing that such distractions hinder intimacy with Christ and disrupt unity in the local assembly. God’s Word was seen as precise, convicting, and protective—sharper than any reasoning of man. We concluded that teachability, submission to proper teaching, and prayer are essential to avoid pseudo-service and to experience real fellowship in Christ.
