After studying Documentary Photography at Newport Art College in Wales, Jocelyn Bain-Hogg began his career as a unit photographer on movie sets, shot publicity stills for the BBC and photographed fashion before returning to his documentary roots where he has largely remained ever since, working on long-term personal projects, editorial assignments and commercial commissions. He is the author of seven photobooks. To name but some of them, his first, The Firm, published in 2001, presented an astonishingly intimate view of London’s organised crime world, and won international acclaim.
