910.MX ep. 1826: Cómo que Ya No En el episodio anterior de 910.MX, compartí una decisión difícil pero inevitable: una poda drástica del proyecto, después de constatar la falta de crecimiento y el agotamiento de los recursos. Pero no quise cerrar este medio sin dejar una idea que, para mí, lo resume todo. Una frase en inglés: “Too Old Not To”. No encontré una buena traducción literal. Es una forma de ver la vida: no permitir que la edad - ni la idea de la vejez - te limite. Propongamos el contrario. Es una filosofía, un “flip”: a imaginar, intentar, dar pequeños pasos… y no quedarte con las ganas, sólamente porque fueras “ya demaciado grande”. A lo largo de los episodios hemos hablado de hábitos, actitud, alimentación, movimiento, propósito… y esta frase, de alguna manera, los reúne a todos. Porque llega un momento en que ya no estás para no hacerlo (o al menos, intentarlo). El podcast se detiene aquí, pero no es un adiós. Se conservan los 46 episodios, y siguen los círculos. Ahora toca a cada quien - a su manera - seguir construyendo su propio camino hacia una vejez como la que realmente desea. Nunca demasiado grande… para no. ********** 910.MX ep. 1826: Too Old Not To In the previous episode of 910.MX, I shared a difficult but inevitable decision: a drastic pruning of the project, after recognising the lack of growth and the depletion of resources. But I didn’t want to close this chapter without leaving behind an idea that, for me, says it all. A short phrase in English: “Too Old Not To.” I couldn’t find a good literal translation. It’s really a way of looking at life: not allowing age - or the idea of ageing - to limit you. Actually, the opposite. A kind of philosophy, a “flip”: to imagine, to try, to take small steps… and not hold yourself back just because you might feel “too old.” Throughout these episodes, we’ve talked about habits, attitude, movement, purpose… and this short phrase somehow brings it all together. Because there comes a moment when you’re simply not in a place anymore to not do it (or at least try). The podcast stops here, but this is not a goodbye. The 46 episodes remain, and the circles continue. Now it’s up to you - in your own way - to keep building your own path toward the kind of aging you truly want. Never too old… not to. 910.MX ep. 1726: 910.MX, a ras. En este episodio comparto una decisión fuerte. Con mucho coraje. Primero, la imagen de los sauces en Holanda - podados hasta el tronco, una y otra vez - para explicar lo que está pasando: quitamos lastre, reducimos todo a lo esencial. La realidad, de 0910.MX, es clara: no hay crecimiento, los costos siguen y se acaban los fondos. Sí hay satisfacción y resulados alentadores, pero – No puede continuar así. Al mismo tiempo, sí hay algo que funciona. Algo que sí tiene vida: los círculos. Ahí es donde pasa la magia. Ahí es donde el mensaje de vivir más años, mejor - con salud, vigor y buena compañía - realmente toma vida. Está en el tronco. Por todo eso, una poda, radical. Lo que queda: los círculos. Y una invitación abierta a quien quiera formar parte del primer círculo formal. Si el tronco sobrevive esta poda… retoñará. Como todas esas sauces en holanda. We start with the image of the willows in Holland - pruned back to the trunk, again and again - to explain what is happening: we are shedding ballast, reducing everything to the essential. The reality of 910.MX is painfully clear: there is no realistic growth, costs continue, and funds are running out. There is satisfaction and there have been encouraging results, but - 910.MX cannot continue like this. And yet, something does work. Something is alive: the circles. That is where the magic happens. Part of the roots and trunk of 910.MX. That is where the message of living more years, better – in good health, with vigor and good company - truly lives. So, a radical pruning. What remains: the circles. And an open invitation to anyone who wants to be part of the first formal circle. If the trunk survives this pruning… it will sprout again. Like those willows in Holland. An episode, a message, a painful decision - above all, a necessary one. Inevitable.

910.MX ep. 1426: en tu nariz… Iba yo hablar de otro órgano maravilloso - tu nariz - y iba a llegar, otra vez, a la conclusión de “cómo no respetarlo y cuidarlo”. Pero…. decidí dedicar este episodio a un tema que, en realidad, también ya sabíamos… o más bien, intuíamos: que tu actitud ante el envejecimiento influye - y mucho - en la probabilidad de mejorar, física y mentalmente, en tu llamada “tercera edad”. Y de paso, se cae esa idea tan popular de que, con la edad, el declive es inevitable. Un solo estudio, científicamente sólido, publicado en 2026… dos mitos desmontados. Porque demuestra que casi la mitad de los miles de participantes de 65 años y más mejoraron, tanto en velocidad al caminar como en aspectos mentales… y además, que tu actitud ante la vejez influye de manera importante en ello.
