We'll be exploring Revelation 2: 8-11. Jesus praises the persecuted Church in Smyrna for their faith and spiritual richness despite their poverty and suffering. He warns them not to fear imminent imprisonment and tribulation, which will be brief, urging them to remain faithful, even unto death. The ultimate reward for those who conquer is the crown of life and immunity from the second death.
