On the farm, the tractor provides the power, and the implements do the particular work: plowing, planting, cultivating, hauling, and more. This Sunday we will learn how the Christian life depends on both the power of the Holy Spirit and the particular gifts God gives to each person. The church is not meant to run on human strength alone. As Scripture reminds us: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.”
