Na hraně by Martin Vlk

Episode notes
Mary Rowlinson is a British marine biologist working with White Shark Projects in the city of Gansbaai, South Africa. Among her responsibilities, she guides tourists during cage diving with sharks. Despite the fact that this technique is banned in some countries, Rowlinson is convinced that it is beneficial for all involved parties. "People need to be able to emotionally connect with these animals," says Rowlinson, who fell in love with sharks when she was a kid watching 'Jaws.' According to her, there has never been an accident during shark diving in South Africa, and she doesn't believe there is a correlation between cage diving and the number of shark attacks. Rowlinson has dived with many types of sharks. Would she try it with a great white one? You will find out in the interview... ______________________________________ Mary Rowlinsonová je bri ...   ...  Read more
