Good afternoon. Wyoming. I'm Matt Mullins. Folks, buckle up. High Wind Warnings are screaming across southeast Wyoming right now. And I'm not talking about a stiff breeze. Here comes gusts to 75 miles an hour in spots like Arlington and Bordeaux. If you're driving I-80 or I-25 in anything taller than a sedan, slow way down. These winds will shove you around. Step outside and you're already feeling it — 52 degrees with west winds cranking up. By this afternoon, most of the state pushes upper 50s to near 60. That's well above normal for early March. Cheyenne tops out around 59 with those howling west winds gusting to 45. Central Wyoming sees similar temps, but winds go even harder — 30 to 45 miles an hour, gusts to 50.
