Wyoming's doing that classic split personality thing today. Southeast Wyoming? You're hitting 60 degrees this afternoon. That's nearly 20 degrees warmer than normal for early March. Step outside in Cheyenne right now and you're at 34 degrees under gray skies, but that warmth is coming.
In the next 24 hours. Head west toward the Tetons and it's a totally different story. Snow's already falling. Jackson Hole sees a high of just 36 degrees today, with 6 inches piling up by tomorrow morning. The Salt River Range gets hammered too. Travel through there will be slow and slick.
Central Wyoming lands in the middle. Casper and Lander climb to 54 degrees by late morning. But here's the catch. Rain and snow mix moves in by 2 P.M., flipping to all snow overnight. One to three inches possible.
