NC Native Clay Aiken on his First New Album in 18 Years

Nearly two decades after his last album of new original material, NC Native Clay Aiken is hitting rewind—and moving forward at the same time. The multi-platinum recording artist just released Rewind, marking his first album of new original music in 18 years. The nine-track collection arrived following Aiken’s return to the American Idol stage earlier this year, where he performed the title track during the season finale. He also announces his first-ever Las Vegas residency ahead of his first solo tour in 12 years.

Gayle Hurd talked to the Triangle's music legend about his new music and his plans moving forward.
