As grocery prices continue to climb and millions of Americans lose access to federal food assistance, local leaders are expanding efforts to address growing hunger across North Carolina. The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina have opened a new facility in northern Durham. The 64,000-square-foot facility has opened courtesy of a $1 million investment from Food Lion FEEDS. Jason Kanawati Stephany joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the need for the new center.
